Google Android P preview is tipped for mid-March release

While Android 8 (Oreo) is spreading its sweetness across various devices running on the latest build, it still doesn’t stop us from thinking about what the next version of OS might bring in.

Google has set this trend to name their Android major releases in alphabetical order and belongs to a sweet desert name. After the release of Android O, the next version of Android be ‘P’ (Android 9, possibly).

As per the latest reports, Google is all set to release its first Developer preview of new Android OS version in the middle of this month. Famous tipster Evan Blass tweeted this information in his twitter account. Considering the tentative date of 15th March for the Developers preview to release, it isn’t a date far away from the last year date 21st March 2017 when Google released first Developer preview for the Oreo platform.



Internet is rife with speculations as what will be included in the next version of this Google’s most popular Operating System. A report from Bloomberg mentions that the OS is being reworked upon to enable support for devices with cut-out notches like iPhone X. The OS is also said to support foldable devices or the one with multiple screens.
